Next Tuesday, September 2nd the Fort Worth Stockyards will play host to Australian morning show Sunrise on 7 (the equivalent to The Today Show or Good Morning America in the U.S.). Fort Worth was selected as the host site for the on-air morning team over all other major Texas cities.
The LIVE broadcast will take place next Tuesday, 9/2 from 3PM-6PM (6AM-9AM Australia time). As with the Today Show, Sunrise on 7 loves to engage a live audience. We encourage you to come out and show your Fort Worth pride and represent TCU with signage, branded shirts, mascots or props for the live broadcast.
The number of visitors from Australia to Texas continues to grow year after year. With the launch of the new Qantas 380 flight to DFW International Airport this October, this morning show appearance is happening at the perfect time to showcase what an amazing visitor destination our city is.
Fort Worth will be featured alongside Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and New York City as the Sunrise on 7 morning show features some of the best destinations in the U.S. on a coast-to-coast weeklong journey.
