A message from the Chancellor

Dear Campus Community:

Like many of you, I have been monitoring the impact of recently announced changes in federal immigration procedures and their effect on our campus population.

Texas Christian University has a longstanding history of encouraging global awareness and cultural understanding – with programs designed to advance knowledge, broaden perspectives and make a positive and sustainable difference in the world. We recognize the value of our international students, faculty and staff in bringing those aspirations to life.

Much is yet to be learned about the full reach and impact of these federal changes, and TCU’s goal, as always, is to act with the best interests of our campus community in mind.

In the meantime, the following resources remain available to all who need them:

·         TCU International Services, which is responsible for immigration, programming and adjustment-related issues for students:    817-257-7292
·         Human Resources for faculty and staff: 817-257-7790

Above all, I urge each of you to remember who we are at TCU: we are ALL members of the Horned Frog family. We have a special culture here that we all must work to protect and nurture.

Let us never forget what we value: academic achievement, personal freedom and integrity, the dignity of and respect for the individual, and a deep heritage of inclusiveness and service.

Sincerely,
Victor J. Boschini, Jr.
Chancellor
