Harry Parker, professor and chair of TCU’s Theatre Department, has directed Thurgood, a one-man play depicting the rise of Thurgood Marshall to the U.S. Supreme Court. The production, featured recently in the Fort Worth Business Press, runs through Feb. 26 at Jubilee Theatre in Fort Worth.
Parker earned his bachelor’s degree from TCU, and his master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Kansas. He has directed more than 100 professional, community and academic productions across the country, and is the Founding Managing Director of the Trinity Shakespeare Festival. Additionally, Parker has written four original musical revues and hosts a weekly radio show titled “Curtain Up!” on KTCU.
