The third annual Leaders in Media Conference, hosted by the Film-Television-Digital Media (FTDM) Department, will take place Friday, Feb. 13 in the Kelly Center.
The conference is free to all TCU students and faculty, and limited seats are available to the public.
This year’s topic is Marketing and Promotions for Television. Garen van de Beek, executive vice president and creative director for CBS, will open the conference.
Other panelists include Lori Shefa, (senior vice president, CBS on-air marketing and promotion); Deborah Ferguson (news anchor, NBC 5 Today); Gary Wann (vice president of marketing and brand development, NBC); Lisa Lee (senior VP of creative and content production, Academy of Country Music); and Michael Peditto (account director, TBWA\Chiat\Day).
Held each February, the Leaders in Media Conference provides TCU students with the unique opportunity to learn firsthand from some of the industry’s leading minds. Past topics have included sports broadcasting and reality television.
