As the political season moves full steam ahead, three state representatives will speak to TCU faculty, staff and students as part of the Texas Tribune’s statewide conversation series.
Join Representatives Craig Goldman, Stephanie Klick and Ramon Romero, Jr. March 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Brown-Lupton University Union Ballroom, where they will discuss issues facing us in the next legislative session and answer questions posed by the audience. Texas Tribune CEO and editor-in-chief Evan Smith will serve as moderator for the event.
Goldman is a Republican from Fort Worth. He represents House District 97, which encompasses southwest Tarrant County and TCU, and serves as vice chairman of the Elections Committee and as a member of the Licensing & Administrative Procedures Committee.
Klick, also a Republican, represents House District 91, which serves Haltom City, Richland Hills, North Richland Hills, Watauga and a portion of Fort Worth. She is a member of the House Human Services and Pension committees and is an alumna of TCU.
Romero, a Democrat and the first Hispanic state representative in Tarrant County, serves House District 90. He is a member of the Business & Industry and County Affairs committees.
