“We put out a call for nominations and what we’ve gathered is a group of top profs whose teaching is known to transcend the hour-long lecture in a way that transforms students’ minds as well as hearts,” said Andrea Carter, who directed the project for Poets & Quants.
Two TCU Neeley professors, Bill Moncrief and Rob Rhodes, are featured in the exclusive list of Top 40 Undergraduate Business Professors, chosen from among their colleagues at 50 leading business schools listed in Poets & Quants exclusive 2016 Best Undergraduate Business Programs ranking.
Moncrief, the Charles F. and Alann P. Bedford Professor of International Marketing at TCU Neeley, is lauded as “the perfect blend between top-notch scholar and an educator who makes a tangible, noticeable difference with students.”
Rhodes, professor of professional practice in business law, is singled out for his many teaching awards and his “quiet demeanor outside of the classroom” which is said to be “misleading, as within seconds of stepping inside one of his classes, students are captivated by his booming voice and a desire to see students learn that becomes contagious.”
