Texas Christian University will feature several “firsts” at its spring Commencement. For the first time, three formal ceremonies will be held at 9 a.m., 1 and 5 p.m. in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena, 2900 Stadium Dr., on the TCU campus. Parking is free and tickets are not necessary for entry.
Also a first is holding the celebration reception for all graduates and their families the evening prior to Commencement. The reception will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6, in the Campus Commons. Guests will enjoy a light dinner, live music from two jazz ensembles and the TCU Brass Quintet and, the pièce de résistance, a pyrotechnics show.
