Student-run Food Recovery Network delivers

Up to 1,000 pounds of leftovers are delivered to the Union Gospel Mission each Monday following a home Horned Frogs football game, enough to provide meals for a week at the homeless shelter. The Food Recovery Network, a student organization advised by Gina Hill, associate professor of Nutritional Sciences, was established to eliminate food waste on campus, and also packages and delivers leftovers twice a week from TCU’s dining halls.
