Need to know the latest discoveries in management, entrepreneurship and leadership? Look to TCU Neeley’s highly published professors.
No. 2 in the Big 12. No. 4 in the Southwest. No. 13 among all U.S. private schools. No. 23 in the country for publications per professor. No. 36 among all universities in the country.
Professors in TCU Neeley’s Department of Management, Entrepreneurship and Leadership are making a name for themselves and TCU for their excellence in research. A recent ranking by Texas A&M University and the University of Georgia looked at the productivity of management professors across the country for research published in the eight top-tier management journals over five years.
The ranking puts TCU Neeley in the company of the most prestigious management departments in the country.
“Our position on the list is a gratifying reward for our efforts at attracting senior professors who are thought leaders in the field, and for developing junior faculty members to become the next generation of experts,” said Hettie Richardson, chair of the Department of Management, Entrepreneurship and Leadership. “As our reputation grows it is becoming increasingly easy to attract the best of the best.”
Unlike most of the other top universities on the list, TCU Neeley doesn’t have a doctoral program, which means faculty members do not have graduate students to assist with the research process.
“Our management professors are extremely productive in researching vital business concepts and challenges, and publishing their results in leading journals. They deserve this high ranking,” said O. Homer Erekson, the John V. Roach Dean of the Neeley School.
